Does your 2.5 have a service indicator?

On the digital displays, I am sure our first safrane once showed a mileage until its next service was due.

When I put the speedo unit into fault checking mode (where the needles all go up and down and all the lights flash on and off) the display clearly shows a spanner icon.

Do I need to reset this somehow or is it a phase 1 feature? - I'm sure our first safrane used to show this but the 2nd and 3rd have never shown it - but they display the icon in test mode.

It does show a service interval with a spanner on my PhII 2.5. I think it´s standard...

Any idea how I can reset it or get it to show up on mine?

I assume your speedo shows kilometers.

When you turn on the ignition and if it's less than 2000 kms until the next oil change then the spanner symbol should appear for 10 seconds together with number of kms remaining.

When you toggle the display, the last item should be the remaining number of kms until the next oil change.

You can reset the counter after an oil change by holding the reset button below your rev counter while turning on the ignition. Hold until the spanner stops blinking.
